Charitable Giving
We are kicking off our capital fundraising campaign this Ramadan and we need your help to reach out goal. You can donate in a number of ways:
- Online 1 – Donate online via our Ramadan 2022 Online Fundraising Campaign or our regular Online Donation/Kiosk page.
- By Mail – Mail your checks payable to FVAMC to FVAMC, 35 Harris Road, Avon 06001.
- In person – You may drop off your cash or check donations at FVAMC (35 Harris Road) daily (except Saturdays and Tuesdays) between noon and 6pm and nightly at Isha/Taraweeh time.
sponsor an iftar
Families can sponsor an iftar. Cost is $15/person. You can pay it in person or online here (select Ramadan IIftar Sponsorship under Category).
Zakat-ul-Fitr/Fitrana ($15/PERSON)
Zakat-ul-Fitr (Fitrana) is an obligatory Alms that must be paid on every individual in the household. It is meant to cleanse one’s fast; therefore, it should be delayed to the end of Ramadan, but must be paid before the Day of Eid. It is estimated at $15/person. You can pay it in person or online here (select Fitrana under Category)
