IMAM & YOUTH LEADER
Imam Khizer Ali is a Connecticut native and brings more than eight years of experience serving Muslim communities across the United States. Most recently, he served as Head Imam and Religious Director at an Islamic Center in New Jersey. Prior to that, he held a similar role at the New Haven Islamic Center, where his responsibilities included delivering khutbahs, leading youth programming, providing counseling services, organizing Tarawih prayers, and overseeing Qur’an education initiatives.
Imam Khizer is a hafiz of the Quran, an experienced Quran instructor, and the founder of Ali Academy CT, an institution dedicated to proper Quranic recitation and memorization. Under his leadership, six students have completed full memorization of the Quran. He holds advanced Islamic credentials, including degrees from the Islamic University of Madinah and Mishkah University.
In addition to his Islamic scholarship, Imam Khizer holds an honors degree in Computer Information Systems, bringing together a unique blend of traditional Islamic knowledge and modern professional training. This combination positions him well to support the evolving needs of our diverse and growing community; specifically in the areas of youth engagement, education, and outreach.
